summary
eLabEurope is a nonpartisan organization committed to promote
civic engagement by experimenting new forms of participatory democracy and
nonprofit, evidence-based advocacy in the public interest in Europe and beyond.
Through an unconventional mixing and matching of academic research and
consultancy in the public interest, they engage in research and sponsorship.
They blend advances in technology and up-and-coming collaborative approaches to
re-invent existing institutions and processes of governance to improve people’s
lives. Moreover they strive to fill the gap between academic thinking and
reality by creating synergies between scholars and policymakers to engage
underrepresented citizens, civil society’s organizations and lobby in the
public interest. eLabEurope currently encompasses three major
initiatives aimed at educating, experimenting and empowering Europe.

it looks like a good idea, to research in an unconventionaly way beside of universities and stuff like that. Maybe in future the eLab will have a very interesting output of results. and maybe it helps young researcher to find a plce for doing their researches. But it seems like that. Paul Stellwag
